Living in the theme park capital of the world allows me to enjoy the daytime thrills and the nighttime adventures. SeaWorld Orlando offered me the opportunity to attend a media night for its new Summer Spectacular Night Show.

After enjoying the nighttime extravaganza that exploded with colors, motion, and images, I am sharing my best tips and tricks for guests to absorb every minute. From the optimum place to sit to where to grab a beverage to enjoy before the show, this fail-proof advice ensures your experience will be one to remember.

SeaWorld Orlando included me in a media event where I was given theme park admission.

Nighttime Shows: The Highlight of the SeaWorld Summer Spectacular

  • SeaWorld Summer Spectacular begins with Club SeaGlow starting at 7:30 p.m.
  • Ignite Drone Show and Fireworks begins at 9 p.m.
  • The nighttime event happens daily, weather permitting

The SeaWorld Summer Spectacular 2025 comes alive at night. As the golden hour creates stunning colors in the sky, the Club SeaGlow Dance party takes over the Bayside Stadium. The hot beats draw everyone to the dance floor.

Once the stars fill the night sky, the dance floor empties, and a new drone and Ignite fireworks show take flight. The show opens with drones transforming into colorful turtles, manta rays, and whales. Then, fireworks explode in colorful bursts, fountains spray, and pyrotechnics ignite on the water. The mesmerizing event captivated me, from start to finish.

Arrive Early for More Seating Choices

  • SeaWorld Summer Spectacular has open seating at Bayside Stadium
  • Early arrivals have more location options

Since everyone wants to maximize a full day of theme park fun, picking the right time to head to Bayside Stadium is key. As many parents appreciate, entertaining sitting kids for too long ruins the experience.

Personally, I prefer to head to Bayside Stadium around 8:30 p.m. With a cold beverage in my hand, there are usually plenty of open seats. I found that timing allows people to watch or participate in Club SeaGlow and have a few minutes to prepare for Ignite fireworks.

Pick the Best Seat for You

The Bayside Stadium is a vast space, so picking the best spot to view the show depends on personal preferences.

  • Best Unobstructed View: The right side, at the front of the stadium, offers a clear view of the drone show and fireworks. You’ll be down front and facing the water, but pyrotechnic moments can get quite warm and may frighten small kids.
  • Best Space for Families with Young Children: The middle of the stadium, where loud noises and the heat from pyrotechnics, allows great views yet offers a buffer.
  • Quickest Exit: Left side of the stadium, which is closest to the park exit, allows you to be in front of the mass exodus when the show is over.

SheBuysTravel Tip: Consider sitting by the aisle for the best views and picture taking. Although it will be hot from the fire, the views are worth the heat.

Grab a Beverage before the Summer Spectacular Nighttime Show

  • Offers a selection of craft beers, cocktails and other beverages as well as bar snacks
  • Great spot to sit at a waterfront table and watch the Club SeaGlow party come to life
  • Guests can take away food and beverages to enjoy in Bayside Stadium

SheBuysTravel Tip: SeaWorld Orlando features a variety of local craft beers on tap.

  • SeaWorld’s Summer Spectacular runs nightly through September 1, 2025.
  • SeaWorld Orlando closes after the Summer Spectacular Nighttime Show ends
  • Theme park hours are generally 9 a.m. till 9 p.m.

While families often start theme park days early, staying for the nighttime show is one of the concepts that captures what makes SeaWorld unique: celebrating the wonders of the sea in an awe-inspiring nighttime adventure.
